Concord School of Karate is located on Main Street near Clayton Road and The Alameda. The school teaches a mixed martial art know as Kajukenbo that originated in Hawaii. Kajukenbo combines western boxing, judo, jujutsu, kenpo karate, shotokan karate and kung fu. Concord School of Karate offers classes for all levels of learning.
Just around the corner from the Palo Alto Cafe, United Studios of Self Defense offers group Karate classes to kids and adults. All instructors are black-belt qualified. USSD teaches a blended form of Karate called Kempo.
