After a long and colorful history under private ownership, the City of Moorpark bought the HSAC in 2005. In addition to theater productions, the Center hosts events and shows films. Schedules are available on their website.
The Board of Supervisors is the legislative and executive branch of Marin County. Composed of five district representatives, this board oversees the county departments, social organizations and services and county infrastructure.
This building is home to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the organization that awards the Oscars each year. The building houses the Academy's administrative facilities, along with the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre and a 67-seat screening room are located within. Throughout the year, public and member-only events take place in the building's many meeting and reception rooms.
