The Herald has been the paper of record in Bradenton and Manatee County since 1922. Its staff covers local government, schools, sports and the arts both in print and online at Bradenton.com. The McClatchy-owned newspaper has a daily circulation of more than 40,000 and is led by publisher Bob Turner and executive editor Joan Krauter. It also produces a daily Lakewood Ranch Herald edition.
