The Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo, founded in 1892, offer a range of programs to more than 6,000 boys and girls and disadvantaged youth. The clubs have five-core program initiatives including arts, sports and fitness, social skills, character development and leadership development and education and career development. The Resident Camping is a summertime weeklong program at Camp Big Silver in Pinckney, Mich., that enables youth to develop an awareness, appreciation and knowledge of the environment through community living activities.
