Operational for more than 80 years and located in Appleton, Wis., Girl Scouts of the Fox River Area is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 6,000 girls in Outagamie, Winnebago, Waupaca, Shawano and Menominee counties in Wisconsin. It offers product sale programs for Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts. The organization also provides resident and family camps that include a variety of activities, such as boating, archery, games, campfire skits, arts and crafts and swimming. It operates online council stores that sell uniforms, books, patches, accessories and other supplies. The organization provides money management and business training programs.
