Davis Oil has grown up with Atlanta. The company was started in 1972 by Wendell Davis primarily to service the needs of commercial customers in the growing counties of Dekalb and Gwinnett. Our focus was then, as it is now, commercial fuels and lubricants. As the company grew we relocated from Tucker, GA to Lilburn, GA in 1981. This move put us closer to our customers as Gwinnett County became the fastest growing county in the United States. In the late 1980s we decided to expand our lubricants business through the offering of bulk lubricants and the addition of outside sales representatives. Customer response was so overwhelming that in 1994 we moved again to our current location at 4383 Lilburn Industrial Way. Since that time we have added warehouse space, acquired a second location in Newnan, GA and performed a major improvement process on our lubricant tank farm. Through the years our commitment to excellent service, competitive pricing and quality products has fueled our success. At Davis Oil we look towards the future to keep our customers up-to-date on the changing technology in the fuels and lubricant industry.Throughout our history fuels have been a vital part of our business with our main thrust being "big yellow machines". We have expanded our fueling to fleets, golf courses, power generation including emergency backup generators, and industrial customers. Our lubricant offerings have expanded as well. We warehouse and distribute heavy-duty engine oils, hydraulic oils, passenger car motor oils, gear oils, greases, white mineral oils, food processing lubricants, metal working fluids, as well as antifreeze and other functional fluids. We have built a lubricants sales staff with over 50 years combined experience which enables us to serve virtually any technical need our customer may have. We have transformed from a small single line lubricant distributor to an authorized marketer of Chevron, 76 Lubricants, Kendall Motor Oil, Conoco and Phillips 66.
