A fellowship gives an orthopaedic surgeon an additional, sixth year of patient care that focuses on a specialty.He completed his orthopaedic residency training at Vanderbilt University, and earned his M.D. degree from the University of Colorado.Dr. McFerran takes care of patients from OCRs service area of northern Colorado, Wyoming, and western Nebraska. He performs surgery primarily at hospitals and surgery centers in Loveland.Dr. McFerran holds board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.Dr. McFerran, an avid outdoorsman and hockey enthusiast, lives with his family in Loveland.
