The most common conditions treated by doctors of chiropractic are: low back pain, neck pain and headaches, using a non-drug (with rare exception), scientific (evidence-based) and conservative approach, to patient-centered care. Chiropractic doctors also treat conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle, in addition to conditions like plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, pregnancy-related LBP, sciatica/leg pain, arm pain, and more. Doctors of chiropractic also focus on issues related to public health and welfare such as obesity, nutrition, smoking, diabetes, cholesterol, stress management, diet and weight loss, fitness and more. And DCs also serve the military thru the Veterans Administration (VA) and Department of Defense (DOD), treat athletes including Olympians, college and professional athletes in all sports, and serve in business and industry regarding on-the-job injury prevention, pre-employment screening, health, wellness and exercise classes, and provide professional advice regarding safety and ergonomic assessments. DCs who are qualified also serve the Department of Transportation (DOT) by conducting truck driving physicals. In short, today’s doctor of chiropractic is truly a Spinal Care Specialist who does much more than simply manipulates the spine. Secondary complaints commonly associated spine conditions may include: Neck: numbness, weakness, blurred or double vision, tiredness, fatigue, depression, irritability, ringing in the ears, fibromyalgia symptoms, just to name a few. Thoracic: pain between the shoulder blades, chest pain, difficulty breathing, gas, stomach upset, rib pain. Lumbar: low back pain, leg pain, cramps, numbness, weakness, constipation, diarrhea, gas, bloating, menstrual pain, sexual dysfunction in males, and various other signs and symptoms. By fixing the primary spinal complaint many of these other symptoms/conditions simply disappear. If they do not resolve a referral may be necessary to further diagnose or treat the condition(s). Chiropractic physicians also treat nonmusculoskeletal conditions and common childhood conditions.

Solas Health was founded in 2002, with the basic principle that we would dedicate our efforts to providing optimal care to our patients.  Since that time, we have grown from a single provider office to a multi-specialty group of 10 providers in 5 locations.  The medical professionals at Solas Health develop proven and innovative treatment plans for our patients.  Our goal remains the same:  To provide patient centered and compassionate care, guided by medical evidence-based treatments.    Solas Health has deep roots in North Carolina. Dr. Francis C. Corrigan opened the facility in 2002 but has served residents of North Carolina as a certified pain management specialist and board-certified anesthesiologist since 1991. He has since brought together a team of skilled specialists working together at Solas Health to achieve the goal of patient-first health care service. The Solas Health team considers each patient an individual with unique circumstances related to their current condition. You’ll receive a thorough physical evaluation and careful review of your symptoms before these dedicated healthcare professionals create your customized care plan–one that treats the underlying cause as well as the symptoms. Many chronic pain sufferers in Desoto, Texas have tried just about every therapy possible and still have not found relief. For this reason, many are skeptical when they hear about the interventional pain management techniques we pioneer here at the Texas Pain Relief Group. The first question most people ask us is: what is interventional pain management? Simply put, interventional pain management is a discipline that focuses on pain management using a variety of pain blocking techniques. A good portion of the techniques that we use include a form of injection therapy. This answer often leads many of our prospective clients to ask if interventional pain management can help them even though they have been experiencing pain for a considerable amount of time. The answer is absolutely yes. Interventional pain management techniques like those offered at the Texas Pain Relief Group can help patients with a wide range of pain. It does not matter how long they have been suffering with it, there is likely a therapy that can help.
