Cherry Hill Park is a Falls Church park the main feature of which is a playground for children ages 1 to 5. The amenities include basketball courts, a bathroom in a nearby building, public charcoal grills, gazebos and covered pavilions, hiking/walking trails, picnic tables and tennis and volleyball courts.
Cutter Mill Park is owned and maintained by the town of Herndon. The six-acre park includes baseball and T-ball fields, walking trails, a small basketball court for young children, and a court for both basketball and volleyball. The park also includes a playground. Cutter Mill Park is located on Herndon Parkway between Sterling Road and Crestview Drive.
Stratton Woods Park is located in the heart of Fairfax County. It features two baseball fields, tennis courts, a soccer field, a playground, a volleyball court, basketball courts and picnic areas.
Located on the banks of the Potomac River, Founders Park features a dog exercise area, a volleyball court and walking paths. The 4.67-acre park is cared for by the Founders Park Community Association. The Alexandria Marina is located on the southeastern edge.
