Established in 1951, California Musical Theatre is a nonprofit performing arts organization and theater company. It is a producer and presenter of musical theatrical performances and employs volunteers who offer backstage services. The organization provides training and internship programs for artists. California Musical Theatre also offers educational programs for students and teachers. In addition, it provides membership opportunities for audience members to support organization s productions and educational programs. California Musical Theatre is a member of the League of American Theaters and Producers and the League of Sacramento Theatres. California Musical Theatre s shows include Music Circus, Broadway Sacramento and The Cosmopolitan Cabaret.
