The Perfect Workout is a private personal training studio that features a signature slow-motion, 20-minute, two-times-per-week routine. The La Jolla studio is one of six located around San Diego county. Sessions are by appointment only. The Perfect Workout has been featured by various media, including The San Diego Union Tribune, The New York Times, The Today Show (NBC), CNN, and Newsweek. Sessions include the use of free weights, strength machines and cardio. Personal training is available for men and women.
A part of the national 24-Hour Fitness group of clubs, the La Jolla location is on the Bank of America building's second floor. Although the building's address lists Girard Avenue, the club is accessible through its own private entry off Kline Street--signs are visible from the sidewalk. The gym floor is packed with fitness equipment from well-respected manufacturers like Body Masters, Nautilus, Cybex, Paramount and more. A pro-shop is also onsite near the front desk with nutritional supplements, protein bars and assorted sports drinks.
Membership goes through the 24 Hour Fitness network and is based on its system of gym classification. Special promotions are available by location, like this branch's after-school workout program for high school varsity athletes. Group classes are offered with membership, including popular choices like Les Mills BODYPUMP and Zumba. Schedules are available at the gym or online.
