KW Plastics is an international leader in polypropylene/ polyethylene recycling. KW Plastics was founded 1981 by partners Kenneth Campbell and Wiley Sanders, Jr., the K and W of KW Plastics. The company was originally formed to recycle polypropylene. A second polypropylene recycling plant was opened in Bakersfield, Calif. in 1986, where injection-molding machines ranging from 350 to 1,000 tons were installed to produce new battery containers and custom parts from recycled resins. A new post-consumer and post-industrial plastics recycling plant started up in January 1993. This ultra-modern facility processes high-density polyethylene and polypropylene. K W Plastics material can be used in non-food grade applications at 100% ratios.
