Kensington Park North and Kensington Park South anchor the southeastern corner of Mendota Heights' recreation offerings. Kensington Park South offers two adult soccer fields, a concession building with restrooms, two shelters with picnic tables and a playground area. Its sister park, across Stockbridge Road and extending up to Mendota Heights Road, offers a paved trail leading through a mix of open space and natural plantings.
Homes are in close proximity to this park, but it's a valuable space for children to play because it doesn't require them to cross busy Blake Street.

The park is hard for passing drivers to see. It can be accessed by the first alley south of Oxford Street, on the east side of Blake Street.
Edinborough Park offers an indoor oasis all year round. This family friendly destination is home to the Edinborough Park Playpark, which is one acre of activity possibilities, including Adventure Peak and the Great Hall. Edinborough Park also has a swimming pool and running track. The location offers birthday party packages. The indoor amphitheater hosts free concerts at 7pm on Sundays from September through May. Annual membership discounts are available for Edina residents.
Lone Lake Park is 146 acres and features tennis and basketball courts, athletic fields, horseshoes, picnic shelters and play areas, as well as a natural open space. This park boasts views of Lone Lake from the shore and dock and nearly 2 miles of formal trails including a 1.2-mile loop from the lower main parking lot. The playground is divided into a toddler jungle gym and one for older kids. The park is located near the intersection of Shady Oak and Bren roads.
