The thirteen sworn officers of the St. Helena Police Department provide safety and security to the 6,100 residents in the district and provide residents with information, education and services to keep safe. Programs include medical waste and household drug disposal, house checks for those on vacation, fingerprinting services, VIN verification and the ride-along program for those who would like to know more about the intricacies of police work.
Clayton City Office is home to City Hall and the Clayton Police Department. The police department, located on the second floor, features 27 sworn civilian and volunteer personnel. The chief is Dan Lawrence. The third floor houses the offices of the city manager, the community development director, the city clerk, council members and more.
