The Omaha World-Herald is the largest employee-owned daily newspaper in the United States. Founded in 1885, it has had six publishers in its more than 120-year history. The newspaper is a statewide Nebraska newspaper and covers western Iowa. It has more than 3,000 news racks and retail outlet locations throughout its coverage area. The World-Herald s circulation is approximately 180,000 for weekday editions, which jumps to more than 220,000 on Sundays.
