Home Black Canyon Anglers is a fly shop, guide service and riverfront lodge owned and operated by Todd Herrick. The team at BCA has the most complete and diversified knowledge of outfitting in the industry. Todds ownership and affiliation with the hospitality industry, guiding and financial services companies result in an unmatched experience at both Black Canyon Anglers and Gunnison River Farms. Whether it is The Peaks Resort in Telluride, Telluride Helitrax, (Colorados only Heli-ski operation) or Highlands Resorts based in Sedona AZ., every facet offers a unique event that cannot be replicated with other operators. Our trips begin and finish at the Gunnison River Farms, 30 minutes from the Montrose airport on the western slope of Colorado. Clients typically stay with us the night before a trip to fish our private waters, have a great meal, relax in our cabins and enjoy our unique property. At the end of the trip, we load the equipment and drive 10 minutes back to the lodge. The last night is spent relaxing: a shower, a nice dinner and a final night in the cabins.
