First Baptist Church of Ballston has teamed up with The Church at Clarendon while The Church at Clarendon is being renovated (until at least 2012). The combination of the two Baptist churches offers something for everyone. On Sunday there is a traditional 9am service and a contemporary 11am service. The contemporary service has a "rock band" leading the worship. First Baptist Church of Ballston, The Church at Clarendon and Pastor David Perdue welcome newcomers and visitors to its services.
Trinity Presbyterian Church offers a number of community and religious based programs in addition to its regular Sunday worship schedule. It runs religious instruction for children and adults. It organizes and sponsors clubs, including a monthly book club, a senior day trip group and a youth community service team. Activity descriptions and event schedules are available on its website. Tracing its origins to St. Louis, Missouri, in July, 1904, The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) is a professional membership organization providing direction in Evangelizing, leadership, catechizing and teaching the mission of the Catholic Church. The NCEA is structured as an association with different departments: Chief Administrators of Catholic Education, Elementary Schools, Secondary Schools, Religious Education, Seminary and Board and Councils of Catholic Education.
The NCEA is located on North Glebe road in Ballston near the business district, and right across the street from Booeymonger: A Unique Delicatessen.
Grace Community Church is a non-demoninational Christian church with offices located in the First Baptist Church of Ballston. The church motto is "A Church for People Who Don't Go to Church." Pastor John Slye, Jr., Pastor Derek Adye and the Grace community focus on respecting the spiritual journey of all people, no matter where they may be on their journey. Sunday services are currently held at Thomas Jefferson Middle School Auditorium (125 South Old Glebe Road, Arlington, Virginia) at 9:30am and 11am. We have group meetings and classes throughout the week at our church office location in Ballston.

Central United Methodist Church of Arlington is located in the heart of Ballston across the street from the Ballston-MU Metro station. Central United Methodist Church and Rev. Richard E. Cobb invite all people to visit the church. Sundays begin with a 9:30am morning class followed by a 10am worship service. A variety of classes are offered for children, young adults and adults throughout the week.
Locally renowned for its perch above a Sunoco station, the Arlington Temple United Methodist Church has a racially diverse congregation and a general open-mindedness. The church puts an emphasis on "risk-taking" missions dealing with homelessness in DC, poverty in Appalachia and an international outpost in Cambodia. The church also opens its doors to local community and artistic groups.
Church of the Covenant provides social and spiritual services in the Arlington area, and provides a spiritual community for members. The church hosts weekly worship services, as well as a variety of programs for kids, teens and adults, as well as community service programs and missionary programs.
St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church is conveniently located in Arlington one block from the Virginia Square-GMU Metro station. Cherrydale United Methodist is a religious institution that provides worship and ministry services to congregants in the Arlington area. The music program at Cherrydale includes a Handbell group, a Children's Choir and a Sanctuary Choir; both the Sanctuary Choir and the Children's Choir perform regularly at Sunday service. There are religious education classes on Sundays for both adults and children, and nursery care is also available. Cherrydale operates several community outreach ministries, including the Hunger Awareness Team, Sandwich Sunday and the Food for Others program.
