The mission of West Layton Assembly of God is to develop servant leaders by loving God, loving people and loving life. Love, respect, and appreciating people are ways of showing love to God through showing love towards others. Church programs are geared to both adults and children to connect, elevate, discover, and pursue one's relationship with God. Programs include bible classes, women's and student ministries, AWANA and support of missionaries. St. Mary's Parish began in 1852 and was located in five different buildings in three locations. The 9:30am mass is a family mass, which is when the choir sings. The church also has a pipe organ that was built by Panizza Organ Building.

Operated by the Sussex United Methodist Church, Noah's Ark Christian Learning Center is faith-based daycare and preschool for children from infancy through twelve years-old. The Center's experienced staff provides a safe and nurturing environment, promoting students' spiritual, cognitive, social and physical development.
