The Lenox Community Center is home to a number of community education programs, after-school activities and events for senior citizens. They offer specialized programs for people of all ages and are strong advocates for a life full of learning. Located in the old Lenox School on Minnetonka Boulevard, Lenox is dedicated to the people they work with and are excited to get you started in your activity or program of choice.
Squatting off Minnehaha Parkway and expansive Lynnhurst Park, this elementary school provides high academic standards for students in the Lynnhurst and Tangletown neighborhoods of Southwest Minneapolis. Students at Burroughs typically outscore their peers in the district and state standardized testing. In addition to the traditional classroom curriculum, the school offers media, technology, art, physical education and vocal music.
Neill Elementary School in Crystal opened in 1957, but you wouldn't know that looking at it today, thanks to a major remodeling and renovation project in 2000.
Serving students in grades K-5, Neill is a Blue Ribbon Award-nominated school. It offers a wide variety of regular and advanced programs, such as Accelerated Reading, Accelerated Math, Might Math, Dare, band and orchestra.
