ELDERHAVEN is a non-denominational Christian Adult Care Home providing 24 hour care of the elderly. Reverend (Ret) Eugene L. Zerby and his wife Florence, the owners, had been caring for the elderly in Tucson since the mid 1960s. They moved to our current location in 1986. They received their Heavenly Rewards in 2012 and 2013 respectively. We are situated on approximately five (5) acres of the Upper Sonoran Desert in Northeast Tucson, Arizona. Our location provides refreshing views of the nearby mountains as well spectacular sunsets over the city of Tucson. We offer spacious private rooms with private bath facilities. Our services center around providing personal assistance with the Activities of Daily Living while maintaining the dignity of the resident. We have three nutritious home cooked meals daily, including snacks and juices anytime. With the assistance of local Hospice organizations, we provide Aging in Place. we gladly provide: Light exercise daily Video movies on Saturday in the Great Room Live piano weekly Celebration of Birthdays and Holidays Visiting volunteers from the nearby High School provide additional interaction and socialization for the Elders. Co-coordinated with a Daily Sitter providing one on one interaction with your loved one is available. Approximately 1/10th mile fenced walkway surrounding the main building where residents enjoy their daily walks. We make all our residents feel they are in the comforts of their own home surroundings. We are operated by the second generation, adding to the family atmosphere. We encourage the residents family to visit and telephone frequently. It is our desire to develop and maintain a pleasant working relationship with the families of our residents.
