Handi-Shop is a community-based organization dedicated to providing employment opportunities, for people with disabilities in a safe, supportive and productive environment, and is located in Mexico, Mo. Established more than 30 years ago, it provides custom assembly and disassembly, labeling, folding, collating, stapling, and inserting services. It also performs custom work, including special assembly and packaging needs. It operates from a more than 30,000-square-feet production and warehouse space, and uses over 10 recycling trailers, to pick up common household and commercial recyclable item, including newsprint, magazines, office waste, corrugated cardboard plastic, and aluminum and steel cans. Handi-Shop is open Monday through Friday.
