Pacifica Skatepark is a huge complex with a large pool, including two bowls, a half pipe, small freestyle area and tons of coping. Skating events and contests are occasionally held at the park, but most of the time its open to anyone on skates (bikes are not allowed). The park is rarely crowded, and skill levels of its users range from novice to expert. Helmets, elbow pads and kneepads are required at all times.
A local neighborhood gem, Burgess Park is located adjacent to the city civic center and is conveniently close to the local police station and the Menlo public library. The park is newly renovated, offers many different amenities and is very popular with local residents.
Some of the resources you can find include a newly renovated 15,000-square-foot state-of-the-art skate park. The planners worked closely with a group of skaters to provide some the options for the local kids. You'll also find a beautiful outdoor 25-meter swimming pool and a children's pool with brand new locker rooms. A beautiful new grass baseball field that is well maintained and taken care of. There are many tennis courts available to minimize waiting time, a new basketball court and much more.
Burgess also has a recreation center. The facility has a complete kitchen, dance rooms, multipurpose meeting rooms, classrooms, a large patio and much more. There is also a full sports center that offers a full court basketball court, a volleyball court and a badminton court.
The park has a little league field, a soccer field, an open play field, picnic tables. a children's playground and many facility rental opportunities.
Ralphs Grocery Co. and a number of other schools and corporations sponsored the Ralphs Skate Court, which sits next to Richard T. Steed Memorial Park. The facility has numerous concrete bowls, rails and ramps for trick skateboarding at the 14,000-square-foot facility. According to the city website, the San Clemente Recreation Division offers quarterly skateboard classes, a middle-school skate team and a yearly skateboard tournament.
Serenity Park, located in Lake Elsinore, features two half-court basketball courts, a lighted tennis court and an informal field. Other amenities include play equipment, picnic tables, bicycle racks and street side parking.
McInnis Park provides a variety of recreational space. The park features soccer fields, a skate park, tennis courts, softball fields, nature trails and a group picnic area. The McInnis Park Golf Center is adjacent to the public park and features a driving range, restaurant and batting cages. The park is located near bay wetlands.
