Since 1989 Donna Capolino has been teaching ice skating in the Long Island community. As an independent instructor, she is not committed to any particular rink. She provides intruction to beginners, intermediate skaters and more experienced skaters as well. Iceland is an indoor ice hockey rink. It offers a full range of services and activities including open skating sessions, teen nights with live DJs, sports leagues, and skating clinics and development lessons. The rink also offers group rates for birthday parties and other special occasions, which include admission, skate rentals, snacks, drinks and invitations. The Palisades Ice Rink is located on the fourth floor of the Palisades Mall. It offers freestyle skating, open hockey, stick time and a skating school. Hockey players must wear helmets.
Owned and operated by the McGuigan family for 38 years, the ice rink provides a fun space for skaters to enjoy recreational ice skating and ice hockey. The rink is open year-round and offers ice skating lessons for children and adults.
The Long Beach Ice Arena hosts everything from hockey games to skating shows to curling clinics. Former New York Islanders Assistant Coach Mike LaZazzera teaches at a hockey clinic each Thursday.
