The park district acquired the land for the 6.11-acre Lewis Park in 1968. Currently, the park offers a ball field, areas for basketball and volleyball, plus an ice rink in winter and two tennis courts. There is a picnic area and picnic shelter (shelter permit required). Restrooms are available during games. The park underwent renovation and construction during the summer of 2010.
