Compuware Arena is home to the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League and also hosts the games for Detroit Ignition, Detroit Compuware AAA Youth Hockey Club and Detroit Catholic Central High School. The arena is also available for concerts, ice shows, high school graduations, trade shows and much more. During the summer months Compuware's parking lot hosts drive-in movies throughout the week. The arena is also home to CJ's Brewing Company.
As a premier site for year-round ice skating and hockey, the Benjamin F. Yack Arena at 3rd and Maple, has been serving the Wyandotte area since 1969. The expansive and modern complex features an indoor ice rink (which seats 3,800 people) and amenities such as conference rooms, kitchens, a first aid station, locker rooms and shower facilities. Yack Arena is home to the Wyandotte Figure Skating Club and the Wyandotte/Riverview Hockey Association. Private events can be scheduled at Yack during the off-season, from April to August.
