Established in 1925, Family and Childrens Services is a private, nonprofit human service organization that offers counseling, education and prevention programs. Located in Tulsa, Okla., the organization provides a range of community support and comprehensive mental health services for adults and children. It supports parenting, marriage enrichment and corporate assistance programs. The organization is a member of the Alliance for Children and Families, Mental Health Corporations of America and National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare. Family and Childrens Services is certified as a community mental health center by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. In addition, it is a member agency of the Tulsa Area United Way, as well as the Rogers County United Way.
