Rochester Yacht Club, established in 1877 and located in Rochester, N.Y., is one of the oldest yacht clubs in the United States. It is a private, nonprofit, member-owned club with facilities located on the east side of the Genesee River near Lake Ontario. The club provides a wide range of services and activities to members and visitors, including yacht racing and boating, personal dining and banquet services, regatta management, and educational sailing programs and competitive racing fleets. Rochester Yacht Club also offers other facilities, such as tennis and swimming activities, clubhouse, yacht club, storage, and marine services. It has more than 800 members living in Rochester, New York area and worldwide.
