Fencing Sports Academy offers classes for kids, teens and adults. Classes range from introductory level to Olympic competitor level. Summer camps are offered as well.
Studio Be Pilates, on the second floor of 4211 Fairfax Corner East Avenue, provides classes with highly trained instructors and equipment designed for Pilates workouts. There are classes offered for all abilities, including mat workouts, equipment and "everything." Teacher training classes are also available for aspiring Pilates instructors.
Every Body Fitness Center maintains locations in Fairfax and Springfield. The 10,000-square-foot facility offers members a full range of equipment and services, including free weights, elliptical and step machines and treadmills. U.S. Tae Kwon Do College is a full-service martial arts training and instructional academy with locations in Arlington, Springfield, Chantilly and Woodbridge as well as in Fairfax. The school offers a full range of classes including instruction for children, adults and families. The school works closely with students to teach fundamental skills and discipline and offers numerous programs, including Little Ninjas for kids ages two through five, as well as summer camp programs, birthday parties, kickboxing classes and yoga, among others. George Mason University's Aquatic and Fitness Center offers advanced fitness equipment and pool facilities for GMU students, staff, faculty, alumni and the Fairfax community.
The center boasts cardio equipment, weight training and fitness gallery, aerobics and fitness classes, recreational swimming pool, Olympic-size competition pool, sauna and whirlpool.
Members can enroll in group activities, club teams and classes.
Full-time undergraduate, graduate, non-degree and doctoral students get free access to the facility. Part-time undergrad, grad, non-degree and doctoral students must pay a $50 usage fee per term.
Community members pay a facility fee and parking fee. Individual memberships start at $750 a year ($75 a month), plus a $15 a month for a parking pas.

Mosby Woods Pool features an eight-lane, 25-meter pool open to paid members. The facility offers a separate baby pool, snack bar, shallow water section, lap lanes, two diving boards, swimming lessons and private classes. Free Wi-Fi, ping pong, volleyball and gas grills are also available. Membership fees are based on how many individuals in a household use the facilities. Fees are $175 for the first adult and $105 per additional adult or child. The Mosby Woods Raiders swim team competes in Division 4 of the Northern Virginia Swim League.
Fairfax Gymnastics Academy comprises more than two acres of space. It is climate-controlled, and equipped for both male and female gymnasts.

The Patriot Center at George Mason University is a 10,000-seat arena that hosts all types of events and shows, including George Mason basketball games, concerts, family shows, trade shows and commencement ceremonies.
