The Ledgewood Association is located in a heavily wooded area, bordering the Cleveland Metroparks. It offers its residents a truly unique secluded woodland settling, while providing convenient access to the Ohio Turnpike and Interstate 71.
The Olympic-size pool has hosted the swim team here for many decades, and residence are encouraged to join the team. It also offers water aerobics and a learn-to-swim program.
Hoover Arena is a large indoor ice rink operated by Ice Land USA, serving Strongsville and the Cleveland area since 2002. A cafe and a pro shop are in the building for your convenience. Figure skating and hockey lessons as well as open skate hours and skate rentals are available to the public. Hoover is known for being home to the practices of the Lake Erie Monsters, as well as the Strongsville Skating Club and many high school hockey teams, including Strongsville, North Royalton and Padua. Discounts for Strongsville residents and Strongsville Recreational Center members are offered.
