Active Climbing is an indoor rock climbing gym that accommodates everyone from beginner climbers to advance professionals. Activities include climbing, bouldering, fitness, yoga and climbing camps. There is a bistro and cafe in the building, and you can even book the location for your child's next birthday party for a unique celebration experience/ Instructors are on-site and equipment rentals are provided.
Holland Youth Sports Complex is a part of the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government. This complex was named after Jim Holland, a former Clarke County Commission Chairman. Holland Youth Sports Complex offers a softball field, a baseball field, a soccer field and a football field.
Visiting Athens oldest roller skating rink is a fun and affordable way to spend quality time with the people you love and get some exercise, too. Tuesdays are $1 skate rental nights and Wednesdays are $5 all-you-can-eat pizza nights. The rink is available for private parties on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Opened in 1998, this UGA Soccer Complex/Georgia Softball Stadium is the home of the Bulldog's lady softball and soccer teams, including the Turner Soccer Complex. In 2000, the facility hosted the Southeastern Conference women's soccer finals in front of its largest audience to date of 2,265 spectators. In addition to the fields, the site contains training facilities, locker rooms, clubhouses, offices, concession stands, lounges and display space memorializing past softball and soccer seasons. Improvements and technological renovations are constantly being made to ensure the complex remains among the finest soccer and softball complexes in collegiate athletics.

Southeast Clarke Park is the largest volunteer-built playground in Georgia. Its World of Wonder playground was constructed in 2004 as a labor of love by 1,500 volunteers. There is a special area designed for the safety of young children ages two to five called The Tot Lot, whose playground and the covered shelter are available for birthday parties. Wiggly Field, at Southeast Clarke Park, contains a dog park with one area for large dogs and one for small dogs. Finally, the 14,000-square- foot Skate Park of Athens was designed for skateboarders and BMX bikers. Prominent skateboarder Tony Hawk not only donated money to build the Skate Park, but visited the park in 2005 and 2010.
Friends of Southeast Clarke Park is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making the park a wonderful place for kids and adults.
