The Omaha Police Officers Associations Hall is conveniently located North of 132nd and Center Street at 13445 Cryer Avenue and is the perfect location for hosting any type of event. For business meetings and seminars, wedding, birthday and anniversary parties, as well as retirement and graduation celebrations, the OPOAs Cryer and Buffalo Halls can accommodate most any gathering. The hall comfortably seats 300 plus patrons.

Unlike other halls which require you to select a specific catering service or limit your menu, you can bring in your own food and beverages to your event. There is ample space both in the parking lot and on the dance floor to guarantee a good time is had by all. The hall has a kitchen, plenty of tables and chairs, as well as a podium and microphones and a large screen TV.

The Friendship House is a non profit agency providing alcohol and substance abuse transitional living programs. We are now offering counseling services to patients across Central Nebraska. We are one of the only mental health counseling services with a professionally trained Spanish speaking counselors. Our new administrative offices near the heart of downtown Grand Island will house our mental health counselors. We have private counseling meeting rooms to provide the utmost in a comfortable environment to foster healing counseling sessions. We will provide the following services:drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, mental health evaluation, treatment for co-occurring disorders, individual and family counseling, trauma focused therapy (EMDR),life skills training (DBT), and with sex offender evaluation and treatment starting the end of 2017. We accept most insurance plans. The Friendship House also has a sliding fee scale for those patients without insurance coverage. We will accept Medicaid patients and referrals from Probation Offices and the Department of Health and Human Services.We are celebrating decades of service in Central Nebraska and are continually striving to add on the services to meet the growing needs of our clients.
