The Forest Hills Jewish Center is a Jewish community that celebrates the strength of diversity and is located in Forest Hills, N.Y. It offers a variety of Jewish cultural, social, educational and recreational programs for the members of all ages. It provides various services, including adult education, religious school, nursery school and youth activities. Its youth department offers a combination of recreation, friendship, community service, and educational activities geared to diverse age groups. The activities include trips, dances, conventions, kinnusim and a summer encampment program. The center also has a gymnasium and a swimming pool that offers swimming lessons and exercise classes to the members and nonmembers as well. The Forest Hills Jewish Center also operates a gift shop that offers a variety of Judaic items and also features many Israeli products and gift certificates.

Congregation Machaen Chodosh is located on 108th Street in Forest Hills. Home to a large, vibrant and active congregation, the temple offers many services to those who worship within its halls.

Billing itself as "the synagogue with a heart in the heart of Forest Hills," worshippers at the congregation enjoy services and programs including a friendship club for seniors and classes in the fundamentals of Judaism.

Under the direction of Rabbi Manfred Gans, a 60-year community leader, the synagogue has established a strong foothold in the community.

Tucked away on quiet, tree-lined 113th Street, Congregation Ahavath Sholom has been a mainstay of the Forest Hills community since it was established in the 1940s. The congregation has been based out of its current temple since the 1950s, where it has since flourished, serving dozens of Jewish families from throughout Forest Hills. With services held during the week and on weekends, the synagogue aims to be a central gathering place for individuals with busy schedules as well as more family-oriented worshippers. Congregation Ahavath Sholom is currently under the direction of Rabbi Saul Froimowitz.

The temple is the worship home for hundreds of Jewish families in the area. Presided over by Rabbi Yehuda Oppenheimer, Young Israel of Forest Hills reaches out to the community it inhabits in dozens of ways, including youth programs and job counseling.

Havurat Yisrael, located on 69th Road in Forest Hills, has been in its current location for a handful of years. Under the stewardship of Rabbi David Algaze, the synagogue has created a culture of togetherness for its worshipers. In addition to daily services, which happen every morning at 6:30am, the synagogue hosts multiple opportunities for people to come together, including study groups and barbecues.
