Congregation Machaen Chodosh is located on 108th Street in Forest Hills. Home to a large, vibrant and active congregation, the temple offers many services to those who worship within its halls. Billing itself as "the synagogue with a heart in the heart of Forest Hills," worshippers at the congregation enjoy services and programs including a friendship club for seniors and classes in the fundamentals of Judaism. Under the direction of Rabbi Manfred Gans, a 60-year community leader, the synagogue has established a strong foothold in the community.
