Train Stations in Illinois

Metra Des Plaines Depot is a Metra station on the Union Pacific/Northwest line, offering commuter train service to Chicago and Harvard. There is an agent available at this station. Connection is available to Pace bus routes 208, 209, 226, 230, 234 and 250.

The Evanston Metra Central Street Station is located at the intersection of Green Bay Road and Central Street. This line runs from Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago's Loop to Kenosha and trains run daily from 5am until after midnight. One-way tickets, 10-ride tickets and monthly passes are available, as are reduced fares. The historic Stone Avenue Train Station was built in 1901 and designated as a local landmark in 1971 by the LaGrange Historical Society. The train line runs between Chicago and Aurora, this station being in Zone C. Avoid the hassle of driving and parking in the city and take the short Metra ride. During the week there are 17 departures and 14 arrivals, 11 departures and 13 arrivals on Saturday and 8 departures and 9 arrivals on Sunday.

The Libertyville Metra Station is located just one block away from Libertyville's thriving downtown area. And at the station, passengers will find merchandise and a large selection of newspapers. 

Paid daily parking is provided, as well as parking for prepaid permits. And taxis are always available at the station.
