Terrace On The Park boasts a total of five areas for wedding ceremonies including the rooftop, the gardens and our indoor chapel. Under the direction of Executive Chef (and Iron Chef Finalist) Jose Cerqueira, an internationally-trained culinary team prides itself on creating specialized wedding menus for every taste and specification, in keeping with the diversity of communities that comprise our Boro, and our city. First constructed for the 1964 World’s Fair, Terrace On The Park has been a part of the life of New York for more than a half century, visited by every New York Mayor, along with presidents, prime ministers and monarchs – as well as the Beatles, who landed on the Rooftop heliport when they made their US debut at Shea Stadium in 1965. Terrace On The Park, has just completed a major five year facilities initiative, encompassing an extensive range of structural upgrades, renovations, and state-of-the-art technical enhancements. The $9 million improvements program is the largest in the history of this registered landmark, which has served as the city’s most recognizable special events venue for more than two generations.
