The San Mateo County Office of Education provides leadership, support and administrative services to the pulic school systems of San Mateo County. It has three major divisions: Instructional Services, which deals with curriculum and instructional resources; Student Services, which directs a variety of student programs including special education, foster youth services and occupational programs; and Fiscal and Operational Services, which manages and allocates $500 million annually.
