Color Me Mine, the paint-it-yourself studio, has been in the Geneva Commons for the past two years. Co-owners Karen Rizuto and daughter Karri Rizuto offer personal instructions for painting your own pottery, mosaic, clay, and artwork. Each month has a variety of special events: Pajama Night, Ladies' Night Out and Mommy and Me are just of few. The studio is available for birthday parties or any other occasion. "To-go" events, where the "fun comes to you," are available.

Handmade On Main is a pottery studio in Algonquin. It offers pottery, mosaic, stamping and stenciling classes for all ages and does not charge a studio fee. Handmade On Main also hosts private pottery painting parties for birthdays and special events. Guests are invited to paint premade pottery pieces and have them glazed and fired. Color Me Mine is a ceramics studio for children. Each store has more than 300 ceramic pieces to choose from. Children and parents choose a piece, sketch a design, select an underglaze, paint and fire it on site. Two additional stores are located in Burr Ridge and Naperville.
