Austin-Bergstrom International Airport AUS is an airport serving Texas’s capital, Austin, Texas. AUS Airport is situated approximately 5 miles to the southeast of Austin’s city center. The current airport opened in 1999 after much debate as to whether a shared airport should be built with the city of San Antonio, Texas.
