The Ramapo Valley Knights of Columbus was founded in 1966. The Council works closely with Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church and the community of Oakland. In addition to helping to provide funds for various projects, the members are also active participants in the parish and community it serves.
The newly renovated hall, which seats up to 135 people, is available for rental. Tables and chairs are included in the rental, and the hall has a serviceable kitchen with stove, microwave and a refrigerator. For more information, please call or visit the Web site.
Knights of Columbus offers hall rental services for weddings and events. A 100-guest minimum is required, and the room holds up to 350 guests. A stage is available for entertainment and DJs. Knights of Columbus also hosts Bingo games every Tuesday at 6:30pm and Social Hall gatherings every Friday at 5pm.
The Knights of Columbus were founded on March 29, 1882 in Connecticut when the state legislature officially approved the group's charter as a fraternal benefit society.
The organization was formed to provide financial assistance to members and their families. That is still the group's guiding principle. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families.
The East Northport hall is available for rental for both members and non-members.
