Opened in 1994, they take pride in serving quality cuisine, and are well-known for their all-you-can-eat (AYCE) yakiniku, shabu-shabu and Korean BBQ. Everything is made fresh daily without MSG and in small batches at New Shilawon Korean Restaurant. Their most popular course is Course A, which includes a wide array of freshly cut meats with local ingredients, including ribeye, cubed beef frank, beef tongue, brisket and pork belly. Marinated meats also come with this option, such as kalbi, bulgogi, spicy pork and barbecue chicken. New Shilawon Korean Restaurant also provides an a la carte menu with more than 40 traditional dishes and an additional lunch menu, available from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. Some patron favorites include stir-fried squid with vegetables and udon noodles, spicy steamed butterfish and acorn jelly rice soup served cold and topped with kimchi and seaweed.
