The H.F. Epstein Hebrew Academy is a modern Jewish Orthodox school for children age 2 through the 8th grade.
The school is a private Jewish Orthodox elementary school that was established over 65 years ago. The Academy offers Judaic and general studies education to its students.
The student body of 130 students comes from all socio-economic backgrounds and a wide range of abilities.
It is their mission to educate all Jewish children who seek a Jewish education in a child-centered, Zionist environment.

St. Dominic Savio is a Catholic Church and private school for grades Pre-K through Eigth. The parish was founded over fifty years ago and today is an active neighborhood community. The church offers many different groups and special events, making it easy for any member to get involved.
Pershing Elementary School offers classes for students from kindergarten through the sixth grade. The school has an enrollment of about 360 students; it has a faculty of 36 educators. Its student to teacher ratio is 22 to 1. Its motto is, "If you believe it, you can achieve it."
Christ Community Lutheran School is located on Woodbine Avenue. This school is attached to Concordia Lutheran Church. There are three locations for this school. The Kirkwood campus offers preschool and fifth through eighth grade, the Crestwood campus offers preschool and the Webster campus offers preschool and kindergarten through fourth grade. There is before- and after-school care offered. Some of the sports offered are basketball, soccer, volleyball and track.
St. Louis Community College operates a branch Education Center at this location on Meramec Bottom Road in South County. The school offers more than 100 career education programs, and has four primary campuses in St. Louis. The Education Center in South County is a 59,000-square-foot complex providing state-of-the-art computer labs and interactive classrooms.
