Sids Signs On Broadway has been serving New Ulm and surrounding areas since 1972. Sid DeLeo ( owner ) started the business in a 1300 square-foot facility at 1021 South Broadway, MN New Ulm, in a small shop behind his home. Having been in art and design, Sid hand-drew logos and designs and then hand-lettered posters, vehicles, and sign boards. Throughout the years, we have added many different areas, such as neon and neon repair, plastic/metal letters, and crane and boom services. Jan, his wife, did bookkeeping up until 1990 when she got more involved with the sign business. In 1997 their son Chris came on board to assist the business as a graphic designer /assistant manager, at which time they increased from a single graphics computer to three and added a digital full-color printer. In 2002, Sid, Jan and Chris needed to expand due to the lack of space and built a 4500 square-foot facility at 700 North Broadway in New Ulm. Sids Signs On Broadway has enlarged their productivity to include everything from posters to large electronic signs. We have a bay for lettering all types of vehicles, a large showroom display for our customers, and a 34 bucket truck and 103 crane for all of the high work.
