Detroit Skating Club has been around for almost 73 years. It offers public skating, hockey, figure skating and classes (tots through adult) and has a skate shop, cafeteria and meeting place. There is a beautiful trophy and photo display at the entrance. Please see the website for details.

The Onyx opened in 1999 and includes three ice arenas. It is the home of the Rochester United hockey team, the Stoney Creek hockey team and the Oakland University hockey team.
