Proven by its average yearly attendance of more than 500,000, versatility allows the Sullivan Arena to offer events for everyone. Managed by SMG, the Sullivan Arena is designed to be a multi-use facility, complete with an Olympic-size ice rink, with an insulated floor covering for basketball, concerts and trade shows. Total square footage with all telescoping seats retracted is approximately 32,000 square feet. The Sullivan Arena was opened in February 1983 and, since that time, has been a mainstay in the entertainment scene in Anchorage. As the home of the ECHL s Alaska Aces, the Western Collegiate Hockey Association s University of Alaska and the Anchorage Seawolves, Sullivan Arena provides top quality hockey entertainment to thousands of fans per year. The Sullivan Arena also plays host to the nation s premier NCAA Thanksgiving basketball tournament Carrs/Safeway Great Alaska Shootout. The Shootout features the country s best NCAA women s and men s basketball teams.

Established in 1964, Alaska Raceway Park is a family-owned recreational facility that offers family entertainment, sports and socialization opportunities for people of all ages. It features a driving course site, snow machine recreational area, shooting range, parking lot, mud bog and common place. Alaska Raceway Park offers racing classes that focus on enhancing driving skills for dragsters in a controlled environment for children between the ages of 8 and 17. It offers educational lessons for more than 4,500 members throughout the United States and over 35 percent of its members are girls. Additionally, Alaska Raceway Park conducts various tournaments and racing events.

The Carlson Center is one of the leading entertainment, sports and meeting facilities in northern Alaska. It provides its facility for hockey games, concerts, trade shows, circuses, conventions and basketball camps. The center has a seating capacity of up to 6,000 people. It offers a wide range of staging, show power, house lighting and sound equipment, including crowd barriers, mixing platforms, spotlights, metal halide and quartz lighting, a 5,000-watt speaker and public address system. The center also has production sound, ticketmaster automated, intercom and public areas sound systems. The center provides a variety of equipment on rental, including a forklift, hoists, spotlights and other audiovisual equipment. Additionally, it has an in-house electrical distribution system to accommodate trade shows and also offers catering services. The Carlson Center is located in Fairbanks, Alaska.
