Taco Bell is a chain of Mexican-style restaurants that serves a variety of food items and beverages. Its menu features a selection of tacos, burritos, gorditas, quesadillas, chalupas, taquitos, nachos and various platters. Taco Bell also offers specialty items, such as the Crunchwrap Supreme, as well as a special menu for children. Taco Bell serves community youths through the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens. Its holding company, Taco Bell Corporation, was founded in 1962 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yum! Brands. Taco Bell Corporation employs more than 143,000 people and generates sales revenue of over $1.8 billion through company-owned and nearly $4.4 billion through franchised restaurants.
