This private, nonprofit high school, housed in two adjoining buildings, was founded byDr. Herman and Jean Ohme in 2001 and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It is distinctive in that it specializes in one-on-one instruction. The coursework itself is traditional college preparatory material, including many AP classes, and it is accepted by the University of California and other colleges. Students range from elite dancers and athletes who need flexible scheduling to kids who simply were underserved by a more conventional high school.
