Rancho Bernardo Yoga has been providing Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative and Flow methods to the community for over five years. Claiming to be the first heart-centered yoga studio in the Rancho Bernardo community, RB Yoga also offers special events and workshops on a regular basis for students to deepen their practice. Beginners are welcome and for those a little skeptical about the exercise, RB Yoga offers new students a test run of 7 days of unlimited yoga for $20. For the first class, it is recommended to arrive a few minutes early, bring a mat, have an empty stomach, and wear comfortable, breathable clothes that are easy to move in.
Bikram Yoga is a yoga studio that's been in business since 2009, on Bernardo Center Dr. After three years as a certified Bikram Yoga instructor, Wendy Harp decided to open this studio to share her passion of Bikram Yoga with the Rancho Bernardo community.
Classes can be purchased on-line at a discounted rate and new students can take advantage of the one week of unlimited classes, available to $20. The yoga instruction offered at the studio is a beginners class. It lasts for 90 minutes, and is comprised of a 26-posture series, which strives to target every muscle, joint and organ in the body.
The classroom is heated to 105 degrees F., to warm and assist in flushing toxins from students' bodies, as well as to prevent injuries and allow for a deeper workout. While the studio only offers beginner classes, all levels are welcome to participate.
Eastview Community Center is a private club for members of the Eastview community. The facility includes tennis courts, swimming pool, spa, a full kitchen and social room as well as library. The community boasts an ideal location central to freeways, shopping, beaches, desert and mountain ranges, and is only 25 miles north of downtown San Diego.
